In recognition of National Sexual Violence Awareness & Prevention Month we present “My Voice, My Truth, My Power”- Survivors Speak, Spoken Word event is designed to offer survivors of trauma a safe, non-judgmental platform to share your truths, encourage others, celebrate survival and to connect with those facing the same challenges in their journey of healing.. During this event, attendees will speak out through poetry, to bring awareness & amplify prevention of sexual violence & abuse in our communities. They will have access to clinical and holistic resources as well as the opportunity to network. Come and enjoy music, light fare, door prizes and a raffle.

This inaugural event will be hosted in partnership with Xavier University Police on the Xavier University Campus at the Gallagher Student Center Clock Tower Lounge(3rd fl) on Saturday April 6 2019 from 3pm – 6pm. Plenty of free parking available. Enter from the Dana AveThis open mic event is Free and open to all. .Sensitive subject matter.
